FAQ

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

Yes. Most insurances require a referral or prescription from a physician for speech/language evaluation and therapy.

How do I know if my child needs speech/language therapy?

Parents have a great intuition about a child's development. If you have any concerns about his/her progress in the areas of speech and language, it's never too early to speak with a speech/language pathologist. We can provide you with information on developmental milestones as well as strategies to help facilitate speech and language growth.

How long will therapy last?

Each individual responds differently to therapy. Success depends on several factors including commitment to practice, motivation, response to therapy and family support.

What do I need to bring to the initial appointment?

A doctor's referral and any pertinent medical records are required. In addition, previous speech/language and/or audiological reports will also be helpful in determining plan of treatment.

What are my payment options?

Most major insurances are accepted. If you have a deductible, co-pays or are paying privately, we accept cash, check, major credit cards and health savings account cards.

What equipment do I need for teletherapy?

Telespeech service simply requires an internet connection and a computer, tablet or cell phone.
